Digital printing, using digital technology for printing. All kinds of digital patterns processed by scanning images or computer are input into the computer, and then processed by the computer color separation printing system. There is a special RIP software to directly spray-print all kinds of printing dyes (reactive, disperse and other coatings) between the spray-printing systems onto various fabrics or other media. After processing, various high-precision printed products are obtained on various textile fabrics.
3. Rotary Screen Printing
Rotary screen printing is a printing method which uses a scraper to print the color paste in the rotary screen onto the fabric under the pressure. Rotary screen printing is different from other screen printing methods in several important ways. Rotary screen printing, like cylinder printing, is a continuous process, and the printed fabric is transported under the constantly moving rotary screen cylinder through a wide rubber belt. Among screen printing, rotary screen printing has the fastest production speed, which is more than 3500 yards per hour. Use seamless perforated metal mesh or plastic mesh. The circumference of the largest rotary screen is more than 40 inches, so the largest flower back size is also more than 40 inches. Rotary screen printing machines with more than 20 sets of colors have also been produced, and this printing method is slowly replacing cylinder printing.
4. Flat Screen Printing
The printing die is a polyester or nylon screen (pattern) fixed on a square frame and with hollow patterns. Color paste can penetrate through the pattern on the pattern plate, and the mesh is closed with polymer film layer at the place without pattern. When printing, the flower plate is pressed against the fabric, and the color paste is filled on the flower plate, which is scraped and pressed back and forth with a scraper to make the color paste reach the surface of the fabric through the pattern. Flat screen printing has low production efficiency, but wide adaptability and flexible application, which is suitable for small batch and multi-variety production.
5. Water Slurry Printing
The so-called water slurry is a kind of water-based slurry. When printed on clothes, it does not feel strong and its coverage is not strong. It is only suitable for printing on light-colored fabrics, and its price is relatively flat. It belongs to a lower-grade printing type. But it also has an advantage that it will not affect the original texture of the fabric, so it is more suitable for large-scale printing patterns. Water-based printing paste is soluble in water, and the sauce itself is relatively thin. When printing, the printing paste is evenly leaked to the part to be printed through the mesh of the screen printing plate, so that the pattern can be printed on the T-shirt.
