Poland is a developed capitalist country, with a GDP of $687,597 billion in 2022, up 1,3% year-on-year, and a GDP per capita of $18,177 (2022), which has been growing in recent years, both in the European Union and internationally.

According to Poland's Important Statistics Office, bags are the most rapidly growing product in Poland's imports, and Poland's imports of shoes are rising rapidly at the same time, amounting to $2,792 million in 2018. Although the Polish textile and apparel industry is still fragmented, with even the largest producers accounting for less than 10 percent of the market, the sector plays a pivotal role in the Polish economy as a whole, which is an opportunity for textile companies of a certain size.
