We are committed to doing our part to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C by becoming net-zero latest 2050.

1. Significantly decrease greenhouse gas emissions.

This goal will be attained through increased utilization of materials and food ingredients with minimal climate impact, advancing electrification, transitioning to 100% renewable energy, enhancing energy efficiency continuously, advocating for options with reduced climate impact, and transitioning to a circular business model.

2. Removing and storing carbon through forestry, agriculture and products

The next step in reducing our carbon footprint by half involves extracting CO₂ from the atmosphere using natural methods. This entails storing CO₂ through enhanced forestry and agriculture management techniques. Furthermore, transitioning to a circular economy will help retain carbon in our products and materials for extended periods.

3. Expanding Beyond Readortex

We are committed to extending our responsibility for the climate impact of our customers, suppliers, and sourcing. This involves facilitating customers to produce renewable energy at home and transitioning our suppliers' entire operations to renewable energy, not just the segment used for Readortex production.
