Introduction of Alessandro Zucchi as CEMATEX President
On June 14th, the General Assembly of the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX) was held, where Alessandro Zucchi was appointed as the new President of CEMATEX.

At the same time, the General Assembly expressed its gratitude to Mr. Ernesto Maurer, who is leaving the association, for his enthusiasm and his professional guidance of the association during the last four years. Mr. Ernesto Maurer will continue to be involved in the work of CEMATEX as Vice-President.

Mr. Alessandro Zucchi has been active in CEMATEX and has been involved in the Italian Association of Spinning Machines (ACIMIT) since 2015, where he has served as President of ACIMIT and has continued to advocate for sustainable causes such as the promotion of the ACIMIT Green Label and recycling of textile machinery. Currently, he is Managing Director and Partner of Ferraro, a manufacturer of finishing machinery.

In his first speech after his appointment, Alessandro Zucchi said: “I am very honored to be appointed President and I thank CEMATEX for the trust they have placed in me. I would also like to express my gratitude to the previous president, Mr. Ernesto Maurer, for his efforts during his term of office to raise CEMATEX's profile on the international stage.”
