2025 Wedding Trend Forecast

As we look ahead to weddings in 2025, couples can shape their own big day with personalized styles and emerging wedding trends that are all about letting the couple's own unique personalities take over the theme of the wedding. We've boldly predicted the popular wedding trends for 2025 in the hopes of inspiring couples and wedding companies to create their weddings.

1. Decorations are focused and bold

With the rising cost of flowers, more and more couples are choosing to focus their wedding flower budget on 1-2 areas with personalized touches. These main areas are often the focal point of the ceremony décor; in the past, floral arrangements in the beverage area were not necessarily the focus of weddings, but for weddings in 2025, think of it as a floral display focal point.

2. Fruits + Vegetables

A delightful new trend in ever-evolving creative wedding decor is catching on: incorporating fruits and vegetables into floral designs. Imagine wedding table flowers adorned with seasonal fruits like pomegranates, figs and grapes, interspersed with lush foliage and delicate blooms. From cascading grapevine garlands to citrus-filled bouquets, the possibilities are as endless as the garden itself.

3. Continuing from Weddings to Weekends

This was the wedding trend of 2024, and it seems to be a trend that will continue in 2025 as well. From a relaxed welcome dinner, to an after party at the hotel, to a poolside brunch the next day. Couples are making their weddings back-to-back weekends into a vacation getaway for their guests.

4. Desserts - there are classics, and then there are innovations

The vintage cake trend doesn't seem to be slowing down, but I'm also seeing couples opting for some unexpected, non-traditional cakes. Couples are less concerned with tradition and more interested in fresh desserts that they really enjoy!

5. Less is more

Some couples are attracted to minimalist wedding decorations. The wedding venue doesn't need to be decorated with too many ornaments. This option can also fit into most people's budgets, and by minimizing decorations, money can be allocated to other higher priority items.

6. Entertainment and Experience

There are many couples who prioritize the guest experience when planning their weddings, incorporating unique guest experiences into their weddings. Whether it's a photographer on hand to capture the moments, or customized accompaniments for guests, couples are infusing their weddings with endless fun and creativity to make lasting memories.
