Current status of innovation and development of air-jet vortex spinning yarn products

Air-jet vortex spinning yarn has the advantages of high tightness, less hairiness, and good wear resistance, but its strength is slightly lower than that of ring spinning yarn and its feel is slightly harder. In the early days of entering the market, air-jet vortex spinning had low market acceptance due to hand feel. As more spinning companies continue to develop, innovate and expand markets, the product range and application areas of air-jet vortex spinning yarns continue to expand.

1. Development of high-count pure cotton yarn

The semi-free-end spinning method of air-jet vortex spinning has high requirements on fiber raw materials, especially the length and uniformity of the fibers. According to the characteristics of spun carded cotton yarn and the yarn count limit study, it can be seen that as the count of pure cotton yarn increases, uneven evenness will be much more serious, and more yarn defects are likely to occur, and combing is the main one; The spinnable yarn count range of carded cotton yarn is very narrow, only 14.8 ~ 16.4 tex.

2. Development of core yarn

A team of experts has developed an air-jet vortex spinning device suitable for the production of metal wire core-spun yarn. Unlike other fiber filaments, which have excellent flexibility, metal wire elasticity is low and the structure is easily damaged, so a special feeding device is required. An annular groove is provided on the entire surface of the top roller to prevent extrusion, and a metal wire channel is provided in the fiber guide, so that the metal wire is located at the core of the yarn and is tightly wound and covered by the spiral short fibers to form a yarn.

3. Development of differentiated structural color spinning
