South Korea's Taekwang Group has launched plant-based cool-feel nylon yarn

Taekwang Industry of South Korea was founded in 1950 and is an enterprise that achieves "vertical integration" from petrochemical raw materials to terminal fiber products. Recently, the group launched a new eco-friendly product - plant-based cool-feel nylon yarn ACECOOL-BIO, marking an important step forward on its path to sustainable development.

According to the company's announcement, ACECOOL-BIO is the first plant-based nylon yarn in South Korea. This innovative product effectively addresses the pain points of traditional synthetic fibers and significantly enhances the breathability and moisture absorption and sweat-wicking performance of fabrics.

According to a report by Taiguang Group, compared with traditional cool-feel nylon fibers, the carbon emissions of ACECOOL-BIO can be reduced by more than 50%, making it a more environmentally friendly choice. The group expects to meet the growing market demand for textiles with a cool touch through this product.

In addition to its sustainability advantages, ACECOOL-BIO also excels in the dyeing process: it not only significantly enhances the vividness of colors but also effectively shortens the dyeing time, offering dual benefits of environmental protection and production operation efficiency. It is applicable to fields such as sportswear, underwear and lightweight summer workwear.
