Opening of Specialty Stores for Uzbek Textiles and Footwear in Poland
The two sides will open a specialty store for Uzbek textiles and footwear in a wholesale trade complex near Warsaw. Uzbek companies will supply yarn, gauze, knitwear, underwear, and home textiles to Polish companies.
Uzbek Delegation Visits Polish Wholesale Trade Complex
A delegation from Uzbekistan, including representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and textile companies, is visiting Poland to strengthen economic ties. The delegation visited the Polish GD International Wholesale Trade Complex near Warsaw and held discussions with Felix Wang, president of the complex, and Janusz Piechocinski, president of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce. The parties agreed to open Uzbek textile and footwear stores in the wholesale trade complex and to offer special discounts and rent concessions to the Uzbek side.
Joint Ventures Between Uzbek and Polish Companies
According to Uzbek media reports, the delegation also visited the Polish Weavers Union and major companies such as yarn maker Legs, Przedsiebiorstwa Produkcyjno Handlowo Uslugowego (PPHU), and Jola Styl.
Future Collaborations in Yarn, Knitwear, and Home Textiles Supply
Uzbek companies Uztex Group, Aisha Home Textile, Korajon Textile, and Parvoz Humo Ravnaq Trans signed a joint venture agreement with Polish companies Rusinagency, Arlen Textile Group, Legs, PHU, Jola Styl, SWP, Ptak, and Colorinvest for the supply of yarn, gauze, knitwear, underwear, and home textiles to Poland.
