Vietnam trade show for textiles will make its 2nd showing next winter

Ho Chi Minh City – Following its debut last February, Messe Frankfurt’s omnibus textiles expo will return in early 2025.

VIATT (the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies) will take place Feb. 26-28 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center. The fair’s inaugural edition attracted 409 exhibitors and 17,262 visits from 17 countries and 55 regions.

“The invaluable feedback from the first edition of VIATT has driven us to make next year’s fair even stronger and look forward to its increasing importance in our global textile framework,” said Wilmet Shea, general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. – which organized VIATT in partnership with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE).

Features of VIATT 2025 will include:

  • The Home Textiles Zone, which includes home and contract fabrics as well as finished home textiles.
  • The new Econogy Hub, dedicated to sustainability in textiles.
  • The new Innovation & Digital Solutions Zone, which will feature technologies and solutions such as AI design, digital manufacturing and big data analytics.
  • The Apparel Fabrics and Fashion Zone, which includes yarns, fibers and fabrics as well as garment accessories.
  • The Technical Textiles & Technologies Zone, which includes providers of textile and nonwoven machinery, CAD/CAM, CMT, and technology for embroidery, knitting, sewing, printing and more.
“With Vietnam’s business environment on the upswing, we are excited about VIATT 2025’s potential to serve as an effective, on-trend platform for harnessing and supplementing the renewed growth of the country’s textile industry, across multiple sub-sectors,” said Shea.
