Inside Our Factory: 6 Production Lines, 70,000 Meters a Day

Most supplier pages say “high quality” and leave it there. This page is the version with numbers in it. Nantong Reador Textile Co., Ltd. (READORTEX) has been a factory-direct textile manufacturer since 2003 — 22 years, 6 POY/DTY production lines, 70,000 meters of fabric per day, 60,000 square feet of production floor. Below is what we actually own, what we actually check, and when we stop a shipment from leaving.

The plant in numbers

6 POY/DTY production lines  ·  70,000 meters of fabric per day  ·  60,000 sq ft of production space  ·  22 years in operation  ·  3 QC stages on every order

What Runs Inside 60,000 Square Feet

We are not a trading office with a sewing floor leased down the road. This sequence happens under our own management, in one location:

  • Yarn (POY/DTY) — 6 lines produce partially oriented and draw-textured yarn, the raw input for the fabrics we weave.
  • Weaving — greige fabric for spandex, polyester, satin, scuba, velvet and jacquard constructions.
  • Dyeing & finishing — Pantone-matched dyeing, with shade standards recorded for every repeat order.
  • Cutting & sewing — chair covers, tablecloths, runners, napkins, sofa covers, pet beds and more, made to your size chart.
  • Packing — export cartons, barcodes, private-label packaging and palletization.

Why Owning the Yarn Line Changes Your Outcome

  • Color consistency across repeat orders. The fabric starts on our own lines, so we control the dye lot — not a sub-supplier who may re-source yarn next season.
  • Lead times that hold. No waiting in a fabric mill’s queue. Typical production runs 15–30 days after sample approval.
  • A price without a middleman. You are quoting against the factory that makes the cloth.
  • Traceability. When your customer asks where the fabric came from, there is one answer and one address.

Three-Stage Quality Control

Quality is not a final glance before loading. We inspect at three points, and each gate has to pass before the next one opens:

  1. Stage 1 — Greige fabric. Woven cloth is inspected off the loom for weaving defects, density and weight (GSM) before it ever reaches dyeing.
  2. Stage 2 — Post-dyeing and in-line. Dyed fabric is checked for shade against the approved swatch under standardized lighting, plus color fastness. During sewing, in-line QC verifies stitch density, seam alignment and dimensions.
  3. Stage 3 — Pre-packing final inspection. Finished goods are inspected to AQL 2.5 (AQL 1.5 on request). Units are measured, counted and packed only after passing.

What We Check Before a Carton Is Sealed

  • Dimensions against the approved sample, within agreed tolerance
  • Shade compared to the approved swatch under a D65 light box
  • Fabric weight (GSM) against the specification
  • Stitch density, seam strength and edge finishing
  • Surface defects: pulls, holes, stains, broken yarns
  • Hardware and trims where applicable — zippers, elastic, hooks
  • Carton count, barcode accuracy, shipping marks and packing list

Any lot that fails is reworked or remade. It does not ship on a promise.

Third-Party Inspection Is Welcome

Our factory is audited and certified to amfori BSCI, ISO 9001:2015, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and California Proposition 65. Beyond the certificates, buyers routinely appoint their own inspectors — SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, Intertek or your own QC team. We release shipments after your inspector passes the lot, or after you confirm the waiver. Factory visits and live video walk-throughs can be arranged on request.

Planning Around Our Capacity

  • Daily capacity: 70,000 meters of fabric
  • Sampling: about 7 days
  • Production: 15–30 days after sample approval, depending on volume and customization
  • Peak seasons: wedding and event demand builds in Q2–Q3, holiday programs in Q4. Booking production slots early in those windows protects your delivery date.
  • Repeat orders: shade standards and approved samples stay on file, so reorders match without a new round of approvals.

One QC Standard, Four Categories

The same inspection regime covers every category we make: Wedding & Event Textile, Outdoor & Travel Textile, Dogs & Cats Textile and Home & Office Sofa. Consolidate several categories into one container and they all pass through the same three stages and the same AQL.
