In April 2025, the total import and export volume of cashmere raw materials and products was 129.7058 million US dollars, increasing by 14.57% month-on-month and 43.29% year-on-year. Among them, the export volume was 115.5699 million US dollars, increasing by 18.45% month-on-month and 56.78% compared with the same period of the previous year. The import value was 14.136 million US dollars, a decrease of 9.61 percentage points month-on-month and 15.87% compared with the same period of the previous year.
In April, 520 tons of cashmere yarn were exported, with a value of 53.79 million US dollars, increasing by 102.22% and 101.33% respectively year-on-year. A total of 930,000 cashmere sweaters were exported, with a value of 29.99 million US dollars, increasing by 25.22% and 72.27% respectively year-on-year.
In terms of imports, 34 tons of cashmere yarn were imported, with the unit price slightly dropping by 0.44%. A total of 31,700 cashmere sweaters were imported, showing a trend of increased volume but decreased price. The average unit price dropped significantly by 71.17% year-on-year. The same situation was also reflected in imported cashmere scarves, with the average price falling by 5.55% compared to the same period last year.
