The Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Department provides a variety of public transportation services to ensure smooth and worry-free travel for exhibitors.
Transportation service arrangements for various modes of transportation are as follows:
1. Subway
(1) Xingang East Station of Metro Line 8
The first bus: 6:14 to Jiaoxin, 6:21 to Wanshengwei; the last bus: 23:03 to Jiaoxin, 23:52 to Wanshengwei.
(2) Pazhou Station of Metro Line 8
The first bus: 6:12 to Jiaoxin, 6:23 to Wanshengwei; the last bus: 23:02 to Jiaoxin, 23:54 to Wanshengwei.
(3) Subway transfer
If you go westbound on Metro Line 8, you can transfer to Line 18 at Modiesha Station (Line 18 goes northbound to Tianhe Xiancun; southbound passes through Shaxi and Panyu Square to Nansha Wanqingsha and other places);
You can transfer to Line 3 at Kecun Station of the subway (Line 3 goes northbound and passes through Tianhe City, Guangzhou East Railway Station, Tianhe Passenger Terminal, Baiyun Airport, etc.; southbound passes through Hanxi Changlong and Panyu Shiqiao, etc.);
You can transfer to Line 2 at Changgang Metro Station (Line 2 goes northbound and passes through Haizhu Square, Park Front, Guangzhou Railway Station and Jiahewanggang, etc.; southbound passes through Luoxi and Guangzhou South Railway Station, etc.);
If you take eastbound Metro Line 8, you can transfer to Metro Line 4 at Wanshengwei Station (Northbound Line 4 passes through Zhongshan Avenue, Olympic Sports Center, etc.; southbound passes through University Town, Nansha District, etc.).
During the Canton Fair, Guangzhou Metro Line 4 and Line 8 will increase their transport capacity through measures such as adding additional trains, adding spare cars to the line, and placing empty trains at designated locations. Based on the passenger flow conditions at the Canton Fair, passenger flow measures will be adopted at Pazhou Station and adjacent transfer stations. Due to temporary control measures, exhibitors and citizens are advised to follow the on-site instructions and take the subway.
2. Public transportation
During the Canton Fair, the municipal transportation department opened a temporary bus line "Canton Fair Exhibition Hall-Liuhua Road" in the Canton Fair exhibition hall area, with the pick-up area located at the exhibition hall middle road. Passing through Zhanchang Middle Road, Xingang East Road, Xingang Middle Road, Modiesha Road, Liede Bridge, Liede Avenue, Tianhe East Road, Zhongshan Avenue, Tianhe Road, Huanshi East Road, Huanshi Middle Road, Jiefang North Road, Liuhua Road . Special reminder: In the first four days of each exhibition, the dedicated line operation time is from 15:00 to 19:00; on the last day, the line operation time is from 13:00 to 17:00.
In addition, the municipal transportation department will further increase the frequency of bus routes passing through the Pazhou Canton Fair Complex, and implement empty bus entry measures as appropriate to improve surrounding bus transportation efficiency. At present, the regular bus lines passing through the Canton Fair Complex include: buses 229, 239, 262, 304, 582, 763, 988, University Town Special Line 3, Tourism Line 1, Tourist Bus Line 3, B7 Express, etc.
At the same time, the municipal transportation department, together with the municipal public transportation group, launched 2 customized bus lines during the Canton Fair, including the Canton Fair Complex-Guangzhou East Railway Station and the Canton Fair Complex Station-Guangzhou South Railway Station, providing participating merchants with services from the exhibition hall to major shopping malls in the city. Point-to-point travel services at circle and transportation hub stations.
3. Haizhu Tram
The sightseeing demonstration section of the Haizhu Tram Experimental Section starts from Canton Tower Station in Haizhu District, Guangzhou (transfers with Metro Line 3 and APM Line), passes through Canton Tower, Modiesha Park, Padai and Pazhou Exhibition Areas along the way, and ends at Haizhu District Wanshengwei Station (transfer with Metro Lines 4 and 8).
The first train from Canton Tower to Wanshengwei is at 7:30 and the last train is at 22:00; the first train from Wanshengwei to Canton Tower is at 7:30 and the last train is at 22:40.
4. Airport line
During the Canton Fair (except during exhibition changes), the municipal transportation department will operate a round-trip dedicated line between the Canton Fair exhibition hall and Baiyun International Airport.
The pick-up and drop-off point at the Canton Fair Complex is located at the junction of Zhanchang Middle Road and Zhanchang South Road;
Baiyun International Airport pick-up points are located at Gate 1 of Area A of T1 Terminal, Gate 11 of Area B and the West Passenger Terminal of T2 Terminal.
The operating time from Baiyun International Airport to the Canton Fair Complex is from 9:00 to 16:00; the operating time from the Canton Fair Complex to Baiyun International Airport is from 11:00 to 18:00; one train runs every 30 to 45 minutes during off-peak periods and during peak periods Departures are scheduled on a rolling basis depending on passenger flow conditions.
5. Taxi
For cruise taxis: Temporary pick-up and drop-off points for cruise taxis will be set up at Exhibition Center Middle Road and Huizhan South 3rd Road in Hall C. Cruise taxis must pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations. Taking into account the travel needs of some exhibitors who left the venue late, the municipal transportation department continues to organize some cruising taxis to the Canton Fair exhibition hall during the daily closing time (17:00 to 18:00) to provide transportation support.
Regarding online car-hailing: The municipal transportation department instructs online car-hailing platform companies to set up temporary pick-up points for online car-hailing at Exhibition Center Road and Huizhan South 2nd Road in Hall C, and arranges dedicated personnel to provide on-site consultation and guidance on ride-hailing if necessary. Merchants can go to this area and choose online car-hailing for travel. According to road traffic and passenger flow conditions, a rapid pick-up and drop-off channel for online car-hailing services has been set up outside Gate 5 of the exhibition hall.
6. PARKING LOT
The municipal transportation department uses the existing supporting parking lots at the Pazhou Exhibition Hall, surrounding hotels, office buildings, and residential areas, and uses the conditional idle land and roads around the Pazhou Exhibition Hall to set up temporary parking lots, providing a total of 15,246 parking spaces for merchants.
At the same time, the municipal transportation department relies on the "Guangzhou Parking" WeChat applet to publish online in real time the dynamic information of relevant electronic toll parking lots around the "Canton Fair Exhibition Hall" (query method: "Guangzhou Parking" WeChat applet - off-street parking - Business District—Canton Fair Exhibition Hall) to facilitate merchants to obtain surrounding parking information in advance. The general public is requested to pay attention to the parking information published online by "Guangzhou Parking" and pay attention to the parking guidelines around the Canton Fair exhibition hall.
