In yuan terms, from January to March, China's textile and apparel exports were 476.1 billion yuan, an increase of 2%. Among them, textile exports were 238.97 billion yuan, up by 5.1% year on year; Garment exports were 237.13 billion yuan, down slightly by 0.8 percent year-on-year.
In March, the country's textile and garment exports were $23.4 billion, up 12.9% year-on-year. Among them, textile exports amounted to US $12.05 billion, up 16.5% year on year; Apparel exports were $11.35 billion, up 9.3% year on year.
Since the beginning of this year, under the continuous disturbance of the US tariff policy, the global economic and trade pattern has entered a period of deep adjustment, the momentum of world economic growth has further weakened, and the international supply chain pattern is facing systematic restructuring, which has a greater impact on the development of foreign trade in China's textile industry.
