As the world's No. 1 pet consumer market, the pet ownership rate in U.S. households is as high as 70%. Consumer spending on pets has been steadily increasing, with the upward trend being more pronounced in pet food and snacks, health and wellness, pet grooming and supplies, and travel products.
The U.S. pet products market is expected to grow by $9.2 billion from 2022 to 2025. Meanwhile, U.S. consumers are gradually forming the habit of buying pet supplies online, and according to statistics, the online pet supplies market has quadrupled since 2013.
