New York – The Home Fashion Products Association’s (HFPA) new TexTalk webinar series continues tomorrow with a focus on trade issues and regulations.
The program – “Government and Regulatory Issues Update – will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET.
Content will include:
- Forced labor
- Protecting against whistleblower actions (for high-level management only)
- Duty savings mechanisms
- State-level regulatory actions
- Trade round-up – including Sec. 301, transshipment and origin marking
The speaker will be Robert “Bob” Leo, a partner in the New York office of Meeks, Sheppard, Leo & Pillsbury, which focuses on U.S. and international law along with regulations affecting exports and imports. Leo has served as Counsel for the HFPA, its board of directors and its members for more than 25 years.
