Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May and is one of the most special holidays of the year.
Moms make a lot of contributions in our lives and they deserve to be recognized and appreciated time and time again. To let the most important woman in your life know how much she means to you on May 12, we’ve put together a list of Mother’s Day activities.
1. Visit an art exhibition
Whether it's a gallery opening, a museum show, a sculpture garden, or a local exhibition, use Mother's Day as an opportunity to incorporate some culture into your life. Depending on where you go, you might come back with a new masterpiece to hang on your wall that reminds you of the experience for years to come.
2. Go to picnic
Choose a sunny or seaside location, lay out a plaid tablecloth and take mom on a picnic to celebrate Mother's Day. Or stay close to home and enjoy lunch al fresco in your backyard. Invite friends and family over, or just have a simple dinner with mom.
3. Do yoga
If you and mom need a break, take time out to attend a local yoga class or practice yoga freely at home through video classes. After class you can play soft music, light scented candles and enjoy a special lunch.
