Quilt Storage Skills! ! !

We buy more and more clothes every year. After a winter, the wardrobe leaves less and less room for quilts. Therefore, a reliable quilt storage method is much more reliable than re-purchasing a new cabinet! So how to store the quilt without taking up space?

It should be moisture-proof and baked well.

1. Dry in sunny days: No matter what material the quilt is made of, it will inevitably be a little wet after being covered in the first quarter, and it is easy to breed mites. Therefore, in order to ensure the dryness of the quilt during the season change, it is best to choose a sunny noon to dry for three hours, and use sunlight to sterilize it safely and effectively.

2. Drying by the quilt dryer: For areas with more rainy days, you can also use the quilt dryer to dry the quilt, and the drying time can be controlled at about one hour.

Quilts: Traditional quilts are heavy and generally not suitable for washing. The storage environment is not very harsh, as long as it is dry and insect-free. It is very space-saving to use vacuum compression bags to collect, and quilts are not afraid of pressure, so they can be placed at the bottom of clothes during stacking.

Silk quilt: Silk quilt has strong air permeability due to its material characteristics, so heavy pressure should be avoided as far as possible, because heavy pressure may lead to the decline of silk quilt bulkiness and agglomeration. Therefore, the silk quilt can't be compressed by a compression bag. It is suggested that the silk quilt be simply folded and put into a large plastic bag.

Duvets: Like silk quilts, the down of duvets can't withstand compression. Although vacuum bag compression saves space and trouble, it does great harm to down. Duvets have strong moisture absorption, so it is not recommended to pack them in plastic bags, because plastic bags are airtight for a long time, which may cause duvets to smell, so it is recommended to pack them in cloth bags.

Wool quilt: it can also be compressed and stored by vacuum, but it should be kept flat when put into the quilt. Wool quilts can also be stored in non-woven boxes, which are characterized by ventilation and mildew resistance. Putting a few camphor balls in the box will be more perfect ~

Using these techniques.

1. Folding method: The quilt folding method is suitable for families with many quilts. The quilt is first folded from it and then rolled into a towel roll, which can greatly reduce the floor space of the quilt, but this method is not suitable for thicker quilts.

2. Storage method: lay the quilt flat on the bed surface, with the bottom of the quilt folded up by about a quarter, then turn the quilt over and fold it into a strip, and fold the strip longitudinally, with the folded width just enough to fit in the folded part before, and completely wrap the quilt.

3, simple folding, put into the quilt storage bag: according to the length, width and weight of the quilt, buy the storage bag of the corresponding size, simply fold it and put it in.

The quilt should be moisture-proof.

1. Some families will put mothballs and desiccants on the quilt in order to get rid of dampness and moisture. It should be noted that mothballs and desiccants cannot be placed on duvets and silk quilts, otherwise the quilt may turn yellow and deteriorate.

2. On sunny days, it is necessary to ventilate more and keep the indoor air dry and circulated.
